DUCTED GAS HEATING

A ducted system to heat multiple areas – usually the most inexpensive way to heat a whole house in terms of both installation and running costs. There are different sized systems for different size houses.

There has recently been an improvement in the efficiency of ducted heaters. Each unit has a Star Rating as an indication of its efficiency – they range from 3 star (standard efficiency), to   4 star (Mid efficiency) up to  5 and 5 ½ Stars (High efficiency).

For larger homes Zoning is recommended to further reduce running costs. Certain areas (zones) of the house can be turned off – i.e. bedrooms off through the day or formal living areas independent of other zones.

We install a range of different brands and are able to install the heater either in the ceiling or under the floor, if there is adequate clearance. A ducted heater can have a timer controller to allow you to set the system to turn on and off at different times.

Daikin Exceeds MEPS Energy Efficiency Requirements:

In the interests of increasing the overall air conditioner efficiency, all ducted air conditioners with a cooling capacity of up to 65kW sold in Australia must now comply with the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS), as set out in Australian Standard 3823.2:2013. All Daikin air conditioners exceed MEPS requirements, in line with Daikin’s commitment to providing energy efficient, quiet, simple to use and reliable air conditioning solutions.

Inverter Technology

Daikin Ducted Air conditioning has advance technology which allows the inverter based system to continually adjust its cooling and heating output in base on the room temperature.  In reaching the desired cool or heat, inverter technology does maintain it consistently – that’s provides and run efficiently and at the same time keeping you comfortable.

Compact Design

The entire ducted indoor items are designed and manufactured into our Sydney factory. It is made and design to any type of roof setting, It can be separated into two sections to make it light to carry and easier to measure through openings and in the ceilings.

Daikin Ducted Air Conditioners consist of an indoor and outdoor unit and flexible ducting. The indoor unit is concealed out of sight, in your ceiling or under the floor, with flexible ducting distributing conditioned air through vents located throughout your home. An outdoor unit is positioned in a discreet location outside your home. The system provides sensible conditioning to luxuries the entire home with Ducted Air Conditioning Sydney.

Human presence Sensor

This detects whether someone is actually in the room, so that the unit knows to keep working. Some models even direct the air movement towards the sensed person, so as to not use excess energy to cool other sections.

Remote control

Look for large, well-spaced buttons and a big, easy-to-read LCD screen.

Sleep mode

This function adjusts, in steps, the temperature to a comfortable level for sleeping so the air conditioner doesn’t work as hard (and more quietly) when you’re sleeping.

Adjustable or oscillating louvres

Point them up for cool air and down for warm. This can be done via the remote for most models. Left and right adjustability helps direct air where it’s particularly needed.

Restart delay

A protective feature that prevents the air conditioner from starting up again too soon after being switched off.

Wall/window: 

These models are usually installed in a window or external wall, and can cool rooms and open-plan areas of up to 50 square metres. Smaller units can be plugged into a normal power point; larger ones may require additional wiring.
